Hoje deparei-me com uma lista de dados em .csv e estava a ter dificuldades em importa-la numa webapp. O CSVed além de me carregar o ficheiro rapidamente permitiu-me verificar a integridade dos dados e reparar os registos que tinha erros. Tudo em rápidos minutos.

Este software dá bastante jeito quando queremos expandir o ambiente de trabalho a outro monitor e não temos forma de o fazer (por exemplo, limitações na placa gráfica).
O MaxiVista embora seja uma aplicação paga tem um valor reduzido para aquilo que pode fazer. Partilhar um teclado e rato por dois computadores ou partilhar um ecrã por rede.

As minhas preferências para Remote Access foram sempre via VNC, no entanto, em determinados casos optei pelo LogMeIn em redes que não tinha permissão para alterações nas configurações da rede.
Hoje encontrei o ShowMyPC.com mais rápido de usar e ainda permite a de transferência de ficheiros o que me agradou bastante. Fica a referência.

Há dias precisava de um software para um utilizador que faz gestão de conteúdos reduzir o tamanho das fotos dos artigos que edita. Depois de várias instalações, encontrei o PIXresizer.

* specify the list of rules with files masks to block certain file execution;
* define users who may or not to install programs on your PC;
* start the program in the hidden mode or with the tray icon;

Amora (A mobile remote assistant) é uma aplicação para telemóveis Symbian 60 (Nokia) que permite através de bluetooth enviar algumas funções de teclado para o computador, como por exemplo, controlar apresentação de uma aula.
Por falta de tempo ainda não tive oportunidade de experimentar esta útil aplicação no meu Nokia N80 mas provavelmente nas próximas semanas verei na pratica as funcionalidades desta aplicação.

FileTypesMan is an alternative to the ‘File Types’ tab in the ‘Folder Options’ of Windows. It displays the list of all file extensions and types registered on your computer. For each file type, the following information is displayed: Type Name, Description, MIME Type, Perceived Type, Flags, Browser Flags, and more.
FileTypesMan also allows you to easily edit the properties and flags of each file type, as well as it allows you to add, edit, and remove actions in a file type.

UltraDefrag is powerful Open Source defragmentation tool for Windows NT. It is very fast, because the defragmenting is done by kernel-mode driver. They are three interfaces to them: graphical, console and native. The GUI is very useful, because it represents your filesystem visually as a color coded cluster map. The console is another option for those that prefer the command line. It is also allows you to run UltraDefrag from the task scheduler and scripts. Finally, the native executable will run at boot time in a manner similar to chkdsk.
The design of UltraDefrag is very simple. There are no skins, localization, or animations. It is a small and powerful program!
It can be used on Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003,Windows Vista and all of the 64-bit editions of Windows.
É simples, intuitivo e bastante rápido. Utilizei-o pela primeira vez num disco de 500GB com bastantes ficheiros e utilização, logo, a parte fragmentada era ainda substancial. O UltraDefrag encarregou-se da desfragmentação rapidamente sem qualquer problema. Aprovado!
